MOTHER OF THE BRIDE DRESS
Received this very quickly. Bodice needed to be taken in and shoulder straps. I am 5'7" and this will need hemmed, so its very long. I hope it will travel well as the wedding is overseas. Material is ok, not excellent.

Okay here's the thing...my husband & I got married on 12.31.07 in the afternoon in a courthouse, by ourselves when I was about 5 months pregnant with our 1st child.
There is nothing wrong with a wedding affirmation ceremony and reception on your anniversary. Do not expect any gifts. Any mention of gifts other than "No gifts please" is considered rude at functions like this.
We have sailed on Disney Cruise Lines a few times and although we love it and are totally spoiled by it, we want to do something different, like Alaska, and see a NEW ship, instead of the Wonder or Magic.

Standard Bank doesn't host “glittering award ceremonies”. The grand announcements as to who their chosen recipients for this honour are done at dignified, friendly, efficient and very, very pleasant events. This year's event was held at Arts on Main on 2 November 2011.
Each of the recipients, Afrika Mkhize (Jazz), Kelebogile (Pearl) Boikanyo (Music), Mikhael Subotzky (Visual Art), Princess Zinzi Mhlongo (Theatre) and Bailey Snyman (Dance), mentioned that they considered this to be an honour.
Master of Ceremonies, Deon Opperman, a past winner, said that it was an honour, but that for this evening at least, the honour belonged also to the sponsors of this event, Standard Bank, for their long term sponsorship of these awards (28 years now).
