Students to 'Capture the Moment' as Homecoming approaches
The Fallbrook High Warriors have been in high spirits this week as the school approaches its annual Homecoming celebration Friday evening, October 28, at the football game.
Students have been involved in a variety of high-spirited activities since Monday that have included theme dress-up days including Tourist Day, Tis the Season Day, R & R Day, culminating with Red & White Day on Friday. Lunchtime competitions have included fun-filled things like relay races, pumpkin finding, tug-o-wars, and more.
Seniors elected to this years Homecoming Court include Maggie Harriman, Anne Rubio, Kayla Southard, Gregoria Rojas, Fernando Avelar, Tyler Hirota, Manny Sauls and Nathan Sneller. While this years royalty will be found in finery at the official celebration, they were encouraged to show their grit and determination during the week on campus by competing against each other in a donut eating contest, water balloon toss, animal game, lip sync contest, and impersonation competition.

Homecoming Week Dress-Up Days : Gorilla Growls
Filed under Student Life , Top Stories
On Homecoming week we all dressed up:
Monday: Camo Day
Tuesday: Greek God/Toga Day
Wednesday: Hobo Day
Thursday: Gorilla Pride
Friday: Class Colors
Who doesn’t like dressing up?! On camo day, almost everyone was wearing camo. I stuck out like a sore thumb because I have absolutely no camo, but it was cool to see everyone, “blend in to there surroundings”. About half of the school dressed for Toga day. I did also and thought they are very comfortable. The people that did participate, went ALL-OUT. For hobo day, people dressed up but they didn’t go all-out. Some did do well, such as Orri Miller and Caitlin Clark. On Gorilla Pride Wednesday, there is just an ocean of red seeping throughout the halls. On Friday, colors of each class flooded the halls.
