A female athlete playing kicker for the high school football team kicks the winning field goal for her homecoming game? That’s not even the icing on the cake.
The icing was, at halftime, Amat was crowned homecoming queen. That’s right. The homecoming queen kicked the winning field goal for the football team’s homecoming game for a 9-7 win just one quarter after being crowned.
How do you even describe all that in the high school yearbook? Her and what must be her favorite high school moment deserve their own section in this year’s Pinckney annual.
