The women-only charity event was sold out and the 120 guests raised around £1,700 for the charity.
The event had a strict dress code of wedding dress, bridesmaid dress, mother of the bride or groom outfit or prom dress.
The hotel’s function room was set out like a wedding reception, complete with centrepieces, chair covers and sashes.
The guests were led to their tables by topless waiters Oliver Cass, 22, of Curwendale, Stainburn, Jonathan Short, 25, of Ruskin Close, High Harrington, and Times & Star reporter John Connell, 32, who volunteered their time for the evening.
Drinks were served by ‘Centurions’ from Maryport Round Table – Paul Agnew, 37, of Aberdeen, and Mark Dawson, 41, of Elbra Farm Close, Maryport.
Gillian Johnston, community fund-raiser for Hospice at Home, said the event had been extra special for her as she got married earlier this year.
She said: “It was a very emotional night putting my wedding dress back on. I have been nervous and excited all day and it is just fantastic to see all these ladies here in their dresses enjoying themselves in the name of Hospice at Home West Cumbria.
